Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026

MasterKumbia operates a cumbia-focused digital music pool at masterkumbia.com. This policy explains what information may be collected when you browse the website, create an account, manage a membership, preview tracks, stream audio, or download music. It also explains how information is used, shared, retained, and how to make a privacy request.

1. Information we collect

Account and contact information. When you register or contact us, we may collect information such as your name, username, email address, account preferences, and the information you choose to include in a message.

Membership and transaction records. We may maintain your membership level and status, billing period, subscription and cancellation records, order or transaction references, payment status, and customer-service history. Payment details requested during checkout are handled by the payment processor presented at checkout. We do not ask you to send your full payment-card number or account password in a support message.

Music-pool activity. We process information needed to operate the catalog, including tracks you request to preview or play, download requests, download-limit counters associated with your account and a track, and whether you have an active membership. This information helps deliver the service, enforce the membership rules, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems.

Device and technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and security services may process technical data such as IP address, browser and device details, request time, requested URL, and server error or security logs. These logs help maintain reliability, investigate errors, and protect the website.

2. How we use information

  • Create and manage accounts and membership access.
  • Process membership orders and recurring payments through the payment provider offered at checkout, where enabled.
  • Provide music previews, member playback, secure download links, and per-track download limits.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related notices, including billing, membership, security, and policy updates.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the website and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping obligations where applicable.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

MasterKumbia runs on WordPress and uses membership and e-commerce features. The website may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember session or security information, maintain cart and checkout state, and support account and membership features. Your browser may also store preferences. Disabling cookies may prevent login, checkout, membership management, or playback features from working correctly.

4. Audio storage and service providers

MasterKumbia uses Hostinger for website hosting and business email, Cloudflare R2 private object storage for music files and previews, and Stripe for membership payment processing when live payments are enabled. Full audio files are intended to remain in private storage, and the music-pool system checks membership and download limits before authorizing protected full-track access. Requests may also be processed by website, security, caching, and other technical service providers needed to operate the site.

These providers process information as needed to provide their services and under their applicable terms and privacy practices. The provider used for a payment is the one identified in the checkout experience. Their own privacy policies govern information they collect directly when you use their services.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers that help us operate MasterKumbia, such as website hosting, private audio storage and delivery, payment processing, security, email, and technical support providers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users or the service, enforce our terms, or establish or defend legal claims.

6. How long we keep information

We keep account and membership information while it is needed to operate your account and provide the service. We may retain order, billing, transaction, support, security, and download-limit records for as long as reasonably necessary for service administration, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal or accounting requirements. Technical logs are retained according to the practices and settings of our hosting and service providers. When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or remove identifying details, subject to applicable retention obligations and technical backups.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can review or update certain account details through your account pages. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting MasterKumbia through the support contact published on the website. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may need to be kept for transactions, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you unsubscribe from optional marketing messages, where offered, we may still send essential messages about account access, billing, security, or changes to the service.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information and restrict access to private music files. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a unique password, keep your login information private, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

9. Children

MasterKumbia is a specialized music-pool service for DJs and is not designed for children. Please do not create an account or provide personal information if you are not permitted to do so under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the situation.

10. Third-party websites and services

The site may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information or using their services.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our service, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will apply as permitted by applicable law.
