Terms of Service

These Terms of Service describe the basic rules for accessing MasterKumbia at masterkumbia.com. MasterKumbia is being prepared as a cumbia-focused music pool for DJs. By creating an account or using the service after these terms take effect, you agree to follow the applicable terms presented on the website.

1. Accounts and account security

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law says otherwise. Do not share an account or provide access to another person in a way that bypasses membership limits.

2. Memberships and billing

Membership options, fees, billing frequency, applicable taxes, and renewal terms will be shown at checkout before you subscribe. A recurring membership continues until canceled. You can manage or cancel a membership from your account where those controls are available. Cancellation and refund requests are handled under the separate Refunds & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

At present, membership checkout is not open to the public. Any prices shown before launch are planned terms only; the final terms displayed at checkout will govern new subscriptions to the extent permitted by law.

3. Music access and permitted use

When the catalog is available, MasterKumbia may offer track previews, member playback, and limited downloads of releases that MasterKumbia is authorized to provide. Subject to these terms and the limits displayed on the site, an active member receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited permission to access and use authorized releases for the member’s own DJ preparation and permitted performances.

Your membership does not transfer ownership or copyright in any music. Unless MasterKumbia and the relevant rights holders expressly authorize it in writing, you may not sell, sublicense, share, publicly repost, upload to another service, redistribute, or otherwise provide downloaded files to others. You may not remove rights notices, misrepresent authorship, circumvent playback or download controls, or attempt to access files or features without authorization.

Membership access does not itself guarantee that every venue, event, livestream, broadcast, or other public use is licensed. You are responsible for checking and obtaining any separate permissions required for your intended use of music, where applicable.

4. Copyright and rights concerns

MasterKumbia intends to offer original music and releases for which it has the necessary authorization. If you believe material available on the site infringes your rights, contact support@masterkumbia.com with the material’s details, the rights you claim, and your contact information. We may investigate, restrict access to material, or request additional information as appropriate.

5. Acceptable use and service availability

You may not misuse the site, interfere with its security, upload malicious code, abuse download controls, scrape or bulk-copy the catalog, or use the service to violate law or the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access for suspected fraud, security threats, repeated violations, nonpayment, or other legitimate operational reasons, subject to applicable law and any rights described in the membership or refund policies.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access, but uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be guaranteed.

6. Third-party services

The website may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, email, payments, and other technical services. Third-party services may have their own terms. MasterKumbia is not responsible for services it does not control, subject to applicable law.

7. Disclaimers and limitations

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MasterKumbia disclaims implied warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site, catalog, or legal requirements change. The updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Changes will apply as permitted by applicable law, and we will provide any notice required for material changes.
